I am the oldest of eight children of Louis and Mable Samuels. I have five brothers and two sisters. I was the only grrl until that *^&? came...my sister. I am not sure how that fact fits here but somehow it needed to be stated.
Oh, yeah, LEADERSHIP! Commanding presence, confidence, active daydreaming, and being a role model.
My father is an iconoclast, a visionary, and a very forward thinking man. At times, I simply thought he was eccentric. It's true. He is eccentric. And that, is something great! He thinks of possibilities and potentialities. That gift is within me.
My mother's philosophy and one that has served me well is, "Be the best you, you can be." My Mother was a motivational/inspirational speaker (who never knew that was her title and/or career) from whom I unintentionally learned, absorbed, and now emulate in my career(s). My mother believed in the very essence of us; that part that is your true 'inner core,' theYOU.
I believe in the possibility and potential of YOU!
